Server Maintenance Notice

Dear Customer,

Million thanks for your loyalty to As a customer to HostEase, you may know that we provide our reliable hosting solution through Softlayer Data Center. In order to improve the server performance, SoftLayer is going to carry out scheduled maintenance between 05:00 AM and 09:00 AM, July 3, 2010 GMT.

They will perform maintenance on circuits which provide connectivity from BBR01.SR01.DAL01 to BBR01.EQ01.DAL01 on the public network and BBR01.SR01.DAL01 to MBR01.DAL01 on the private network. Therefore, the following services will be modified during the maintenance:

Dallas, TX (DAL01) to Seattle, WA (SEA01) private and public network connectivity
Dallas, TX (DAL01) to Washington, DC (WDC01) private and public network connectivity
BBR01.SR01.DAL01 to BBR01.EQ01.DAL01 global backbone network connectivity (public / private)
DAR01.DAL01 and DAR02.DAL01 to BBR01.SR01.DAL01 global backbone network connectivity (public / private)

It will require 4 hours to complete the maintenance process. You are likely to see routing anomalies, packet-loss, and increased latency on both the public and private networks.

Notice to HostEase’s Customers: Server Upgrade

Dear customer,

We would like to place our sincere thanks for your interest in our HostEase. In order to provide better services to our customers, we will be upgrading our server on Thursday, 24 June 2010, from 2:00a.m. until 5:00a.m. CDT.

It will take 3 hours to upgrade both the support and manage system. We start the upgrade from the support system which will need 1 hour. Then it is the upgrade for manage system which requires 2 hours.

The live-chat and ticket support will be unavailable while the upgrade for support system are taking place,however, you still could expect phone support.

When we are upgrading the manage system, you will not able to access the Manage Page for any management and your requirements for purchasing products will be not meet. Customers are allowed to login into your hosting control panel and manage your hosting account via the address “”.

During these upgrades process, your websites will not be affected. We do these upgrades with the purpose of adding more processing power to our support and manage systems. Thus they will help increase their speeds and efficiencies.

Notice of Maintenance

SoftLayer will perform a required power maintenance at 2am PDT on 3/17/2010, which will affect HostEase’s server on them

So we post this notice to inform you about the maintenance for the attached servers on HostEase. During this maintenance window the server will be powered down for a period of about 20 minutes.

Notice of Upgrade

To provide service on a best-effort basis, HostEase schedules upgrade maintenance regularly.

The recent upgrade schedule will fall on 1:00 ~3:00 am, Jan. 21st, PST, which is an upgrade of HostEase's Customer Home. During the maintenance, the service of customer login and product order will be unavailable; customers may access their hosting accounts through cPanel (http://yourdomainname/cpanel). will also be accessible then.
