How do I perform a ping using Windows OS?

1.Click on Start
2.Select 'Run'
3.Type 'cmd' or 'command' and press 'Enter'
4. You should see the following line: C:Documents and Settings\User>. Type: 'ping yourdomain.com' and press enter
5.You would get a result like this:

C:\Documents and Settings\CustomerService>ping www.hostease.com

Pinging www.hostease.com [174.37.94.190] with 32 bytes of data:

Reply from 174.37.94.190: bytes=32 time=24ms TTL=62
Reply from 174.37.94.190: bytes=32 time=24ms TTL=62
Reply from 174.37.94.190: bytes=32 time=23ms TTL=62
Reply from 174.37.94.190: bytes=32 time=253ms TTL=62

Ping statistics for 174.37.94.190:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
